2021 Student Contest Winners

This was our first PROVINCE-WIDE CONTEST. We would like to thank the hundreds of students who entered the contest with their stories, essays, poems, videos, artworks, and other media. The judges appreciated the time and energy that you invested into developing very creative submissions.

All of the teachers of the winners will receive a $200 VISA gift card.

Ariam Solomon,  Grade 9 student at  Sir Wilfrid Laurier in Calgary (teacher: Ms.Araki) for her essay about Nellie McClung.

Maria Sismon Grade 8  student at St. Isidore of Seville in the Calgary Catholic School District (teacher: Laura Mulvey) for her essay about Nellie McClung
