Alberta Champions Coloring Pages

These printable coloring pages introduce students to important people, events, and symbols that have shaped Alberta’s history and community identity.

Description

Each page includes a short “Did You Know?” fact to support vocabulary development and spark discussion.

Ideal for Grades 4–6 and adaptable for Grades 7–9, these resources work well as Social Studies extensions, early finisher activities, literacy stations, leadership lessons, or enrichment tasks. Teachers can use them to reinforce Alberta history, introduce community builders, or support classroom conversations about heritage, leadership, and civic pride

A companion reflection sheet is available to extend learning and encourage deeper thinking. Students can respond to prompts about why the person, event, or symbol is significant and how its values connect to their own lives and communities.

For a quick extension, teachers may also ask students to write one sentence explaining why this example is important to Alberta’s history.
