This Alberta History Word Scramble is a ready-to-use classroom activity designed to reinforce key vocabulary connected to Alberta’s history, culture, leadership, and community identity.
The Grades 4–6 version focuses on recognizable Alberta landmarks, cities, natural features, and cultural icons, making it ideal for warm-ups, literacy stations, early finisher tasks, or review activities.
An expanded Grades 7–9 version includes additional vocabulary connected to Alberta’s history, governance, treaties, economic development, and civic identity.
