WinSport owns and operates Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, one of the key legacy facilities from the 1988 Winter Olympics. WinSport provides a wide range of programs and facilities to help all ages discover, develop and excel at sport. In Winter, Canada Olympic Park is home to one of Canada’s largest ski and snowboard schools. It features terrain for all abilities, a world-class halfpipe, andFIS-sanctioned slopestyle course, a terrain park, and Western Canada’s largest tube parks for family fun. In summer, ride the lift up and mountain bike downhill on the trails and the skills centre, or play mini-golf course with your family.
At Canada Olympic Park, the Markin MacPhail Centre has an international-sized arena with seating for 3,000, and three NHL-sized ice rinks. Two gym facilities provide opportunities for high-performance athletes and the public. WinSport also hosts hundreds of events each year. WinSport also operates the Bill Warren Training Centre at the Canmore Nordic Centre; and the Beckie Scott High Performance Training Centre on the Haig Glacier in Alberta.
