Grades 7-9 Essay Contest

1st Ariam Solomon,  Grade 9 student at  Sir Wilfrid Laurier in Calgary (teacher: Ms.Araki) for her essay about Nellie McClung.

2nd Maria Sismon Grade 8  student at St. Isidore of Seville in the Calgary Catholic School District (teacher: Laura Mulvey) for her essay about Nellie McClung

3rd Cassandra (Cassie) Chan, Grade 8 student at St. Isidore School in the Calgary Catholic School District  (teacher: Laura Muvey) for her essay on Nellie McClung
